The I-PACE is finally here and to be honest, it’s looking hot.

Jaguar finally revealed details about their electric SUV in a live video broadcast last night in which they showed a video of Jaguar Racing FIA Formula E driver Mitch Evans battle it out in a drag race against IndyCar champ Tony Kanaan. Mitch took the I-PACE and Tony took the Tesla Model X. The I-PACE won. Twice.

So far, it seems that much of the initial speculation and information about the I-PACE was as expected and therefore, this hotly anticipated new EV is certainly going to be a great addition to the roads.

Where other companies talk about the future, we build it. We have torn up the rule book to create the newest member of the PACE family, the all-electric Jaguar I-PACE. With zero tailpipe emissions, no CO2 and no particulates, it moves us dramatically closer to our vision of a clean, safe and sustainable future.

-Dr Ralf Speth, CEO, Jaguar Land Rover

Jaguar Land Rover will build the I-PACE in Austria and the I-PACE will be available from March 1, in S, SE and HSE models.

I know I can’t wait to get behind the wheel! Although, in my opinion, the I-PACE definitely looks best with an E-Type Zero sat next to it in the garage.
